Golden Valley Hosts Education Equity Forum on Oct. 10
(CITY OF GOLDEN VALLEY) – This year, the Minnesota Legislature passed new legislation requiring the inclusion of ethnic studies courses in our schools. Additionally, the “Minnesota Equity in Action Framework” was also approved, aiming to advance equity and inclusion across various sectors. To discuss the implementation and progress of these initiatives within our local school districts, the Golden Valley Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission and the Robbinsdale Human Rights Commission are hosting a community forum at Ridgedale Library.

This event will provide valuable insights and updates on how these important changes are being integrated into our schools.
