Good news for those who need to register a vehicle or transfer a title. The Golden Valley DMV is open for these and a number of other services, by appointment only. Make your appointment in advance from the city’s DMV page. When you arrive at City Hall, wait in your vehicle until five minutes beforehand; then come to the door and staff will let you in. If you arrive more than five minutes late, you will need to reschedule the appointment. Renewing vehicle tabs can be easily done via the drop box located near City Hall’s main doors and doesn’t require an appointment. Tabs are processed within a few days and mailed out.
