The joys of the season will be on full-display at historic Eidem Farm in Brooklyn Park.
Fall on the Farm is scheduled from October 5th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A variety of autumn-themed outdoor events are planned.
“Families can stop and try fresh apple cider from our cider press as well as enjoy a hayride,” said Recreational Specialist Sammy Borzick.
There will also be farm animals, kids coloring sheets, and marshmallows to roast.
Families can experience a walking tour of the site on the farm’s accessible pathways and the nature play area, secret garden, and schoolhouse will be available.
Don’t forget to check out the farm’s interpretive signage and enjoy a fall-themed storybook walk around the grounds!

Indoor Activities
Fall on the Farm won’t just feature outdoor attractions.
There will be some activities inside the historic farm house.
Caramel apple making and baking on a wood-fire stove will take place in the kitchen.
Visitors will be welcomed to tour the first floor of the home completed in 1906.
Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
“They can take a walking tour of the dining room and parlor and see how it would look 100 years ago,” said Borzick.
Guests are allowed to handle items in the home with care like the antique piano.
“Our goal is just to make it a super interpretive space where you can experience it through touch and feel,” said Borzick.
Around 500 people are expected to turn out for Fall on the Farm to experience the the bounty of the season and the farm’s rich history.
“I’m just hoping the community really comes out and enjoys celebrating Fall at historic Eidem farm,” said Borzick.
The event is free for the public.
