Community Gardening in Brooklyn Center
The city of Brooklyn Center is turning to community gardening to improve access to fresh, healthy food. There are plans to build a greenhouse in Centennial Park starting this spring. In the meantime, staff are already experimenting by growing vegetables on indoor towers to see what they can grow and how much of it. The city is looking for help with these gardening projects.
