Centerbrook Golf Presents Music on the Green: A Blend of Golf and Live Music
Centerbrook Golf in Brooklyn Center is set to host its popular Music on the Green series for the second consecutive year, offering golf enthusiasts and music lovers an entertaining summer experience.
Centerbrook Golf’s 9-hole, par 3 course is known for its impeccably manicured fairways and picturesque surroundings that provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of live music.
According to golf course superintendent Steve Makowske, the event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy both the sport and live entertainment.
“The clubhouse is open, so all the amenities are available. It’s just a nice relaxing way to spend an evening with the spouse or the family, depending on what music and genre you listen to,” Makowske said.
Classic Rock Band to Perform for Music on the Green
The next Music on the Green series will take place on Saturday, July 8 at 6 p.m. when the popular classic rock cover band, The Recliners, will perform.
For those seeking a more interactive experience, Centerbrook Golf also offers an alternative way to play a round—fling golf.
Makowske explained the appeal of fling golf.
“Golf by itself is a hard game, but playing [fling golf], you can just throw the ball and there’s no practice swings,” stated Makowske, who noted that fling golfers can participate alongside regular golfers.
