Candidate Filing Open Now for Golden Valley Election
Golden Valley residents interested in running for city offices, listen up. Here’s what you need to know about candidate filing in Golden Valley.
It’s election year in Golden Valley, and this year there are three positions on the ballot: the mayor and two city council members. Residents 21 years and older are able to file for office with the city clerk now until the deadline, which is Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 5 p.m.
All residents should remember: absentee voting starts Friday, Sept. 22 and election day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
