Brooklyn Center’s Community Cleanup
The good news is that spring is definitely here! The bad news is with that comes some of the trash that’s kind of exposed after the snow melts. To help take care of that problem, the city of Brooklyn Center is holding its Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 24 from 9am to noon. Meet at the Centennial Park Amphitheater, rain or shine. Picking up litter gets rid of an eyesore and prevents it from getting into waterways. If you can’t make it to the Community Cleanup on April 24, call public works at 763-585-7100 to get bags, gloves, and litter grabbers to collect litter at another time.
