Brooklyn Center Set to Host Community Health Fair This Summer
One of Brooklyn Center’s biggest city-run events will move to a new location later this summer in hopes to continue its growth in attendance and vendors.
The Community Health Fair will be Saturday, August 10 at Brooklyn Center High School from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“The biggest goal is to make (the fair) accessible to residents who may not be aware of the resources that are available in town,” said Brooklyn Center Communications Manager Joe Cardoza. “We want residents to show out and have that sense of community and have a great time.”
The event was attended by 1,000 people and 75 vendors last year outside Brooklyn Center City Hall.
“It’s been growing in participants and vendors,” said Cardoza.
