Back to School Safety in Osseo
Safety is a major concern when kids go back to school. That’s why the Osseo Police want you to stop something. Your car. Their number one concern this year is stop signs, and making sure people are paying attention to them, especially in school zones. Another thing motorists need to stop for is a school bus that is stopped with its red lights flashing, stop sign out, and crossing arm fully extended. The Osseo Police have reminders for students, too. Stay on the curb or sidewalk while waiting for the bus, and for students who walk to school, use crosswalks when crossing streets, especially when crossing Central Avenue.
