Apply Now for a Robbinsdale Community Garden Plot
Aspiring gardeners can prepare for the summer growing season at the Robbinsdale Community Garden.
The garden gives residents a place to tend to their own raised bed, perfect for growing a crop of fresh vegetables for the dinner table.
Plots are available at the Bunny Lot at Lake Drive and Chowen Avenue, and new this year, at Sanborn Park.
Applications are due April 1 and space is limited. The cost for a garden bed is $25. Scholarships can be awarded to households receiving any government assistance.
Because demand is high and space is limited, staff will review applications and award plots with preference given to:
- Robbinsdale residents
- Gardeners who will use the space to grow food
- Those with no other available space in which to garden
Apply online now or by mailing or dropping off a paper application at City Hall.
