A Makeover for Gleason Fields in Maple Grove
The idea for a dedicated baseball and softball complex has been around in Maple Grove for many years. Now, the design stage is at last underway for a new Gleason Fields, which will convert its under-utilized rectangular fields to ball diamonds. The complex will have four fields with artificial turf, a concession and restroom building, picnic shelter, and covered seating. The improved facility will be a great tournament venue while offering better amenities for a neighborhood park.
