I am an experienced educator with proven success in narrowing the opportunity gap & raising academic achievement for all students, a longtime 279 community member & parent dedicated to building cross-cultural, cross-district relationships, & a politically unconnected candidate, committed to the nonpartisan position dedicated to solely supporting & collaborating with teachers, staff, families, & board members to successfully fulfill the district mission, its core values, & strategic plan.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
My vision is for District 279 to become a premier school district that actively ensures access, embraces our asset of diversity, amplifies student voice, strengthens our relationships to unite us so we educate our students to successfully navigate a 21st century global workforce and society.
