Wayzata Football Hoping for Rebound Season Under New Coach
In a program that has a strong history of success that includes four state championships since the year 2005, Wayzata football dropped off in recent seasons.
The Trojans were 1-8 last fall.
New head coach Derrin Lamker and his staff and players hope to rebound this fall.
The Trojans have some talented returners, including defensive end and Gophers recruit Eli Diane, who missed all of last season with an injury, along with quarterback Thor Soukup and cornerback/wide receiver Max Beeninga.
Wayzata opens the season at Andover September 3rd.
