Totino-Grace Football Drops Home Opener to Stewartville
The Totino-Grace football team fell behind by two scores in the first quarter of their home opener against Stewartville and never recovered, losing to the Tigers, 21-6.
Peyton English and Simon Emanuel both ran in touchdowns to give Stewartville a 14-0 lead. English ran in another score in the fourth quarter.
The Eagles bounced back after Stewartville’s third score with a 42-yard completion from Henry Cone to Ben Bergan on the ensuing drive to set up a one-yard touchdown run by Bergan.
The Eagles are now 1-1 on the season and play at St. Anthony in week three.
