Rosemount Knocks Off Champlin Park Baseball in Class AAAA State Championship
The Champlin Park baseball team saw their postseason run come to an end in the Class AAAA state championship, falling to Rosemount 4-1.
The Rebels scored first in the bottom of the second when Jaden Oligmueller drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
The Irish answered with two RBI base hits from Oliver Anderson and Jackson Agee.
Champlin Park had two runners on with zero outs in the third inning, but left them stranded after a fly out, strikeout, and pop up.
Rosemount added two more runs in the sixth inning on their way to their program’s first ever state title. The Rebels finished their season with a 21-7 record.
