Maple Grove’s Maisy Tomlinson Heads to Lake Placid for National Camp
For the third time in her hockey career, Maple Grove’s Maisy Tomlinson is invited to a big USA Hockey event.
The high school senior is one of 46 players in the country selected to compete at the USA Hockey Girls Under-18 Women’s National Festival camp August 2-7 in Lake Placid, New York.
25 of those players will be picked for the Under-18 Select Team which will compete in a three-game series against Canada August 12-15.
Maisy competed for USA Hockey as an Under-15 player and was selected last summer for the U-18 team but could not play because of an injury.
As a high school junior, the Crimson defenseman was named all-conference and honorable mention all-state.
Last September she committed to the University of St. Thomas for college hockey.
Wayzata High School senior Noelle Noble is among the other Minnesotans invited to the camp.
