Maple Grove’s Ann, Thelen Commit to Wisconsin Basketball

Maple Grove seniors-to-be Baboucarr Ann and Jack Thelen both recently verbally committed to the University of Wisconsin for men’s basketball.

Ann averaged 19 points and four assists per game as a junior while Thelen averaged 14 points and nine rebounds for the Crimson, who finished fourth in the state in Class AAAA.

Both players say former Maple Grove and Wisconsin standout- and now Badgers assistant coach- Brad Davison played a key role in recruiting the two.
