Maple Grove Girls Volleyball Aims for Next Step

The Maple Grove girls volleyball team has won 48 matches over the past two seasons, but the Crimson are still lacking one big thing– a section title.

The 27-4 2025 team lost to Champlin Park in the Section 5AAAA semifinals, one year after losing to the Rebels in the section final.

But this may be the best Maple Grove team yet. Eleven seniors are on the roster plus junior Neysa Allen returns after missing all of her sophomore season with an injury.

Key returning players for the Crimson include Kacie Schulte, Avery Quam, Hannah Daniels, McKinley Hardle, Tess Schuler, Addy Chung and Olivia Morris.

Maple Grove is ranked third in the state in the Class AAAA pre-season poll.

The Crimson open the season Saturday against Benilde-St. Margaret’s at the Side Out Classic in New Prague.
