James Ware Takes Over as Hopkins Boys Basketball Coach
1995 Hopkins High School graduate James Ware is the new head boys basketball coach at his alma mater, taking over for Hall of Fame coach Ken Novak, Jr. Novak retired this spring after 37 years at Hopkins.
Ware was the head coach at Park Center High School for ten seasons, winning a state title in 2022.
He was an assistant coach at Hopkins this past season and has worked in the district for the past 14 years.
