The Breck girls tennis team handed Wayzata its first loss of the season Wednesday, edging the Trojans 4-3 in a good matchup of two of the area’s top teams.

Wayzata, playing without three regulars, swept the doubles matches, all in straight sets.

Breck though swept the singles matches.

That included rallying from first set losses at first and third singles.

The Mustangs improved to 6-1 while Wayzata falls to 9-1.
