Big First Inning Propels Wayzata Post 118 to 8-2 Win over Champlin
The Wayzata Post 118 American Legion baseball team capitalized on five Champlin errors in the first inning and earned an 8-2 win in the Delano Stars and Stripes 4th of July tournament.
Alex Kakach got the win for Wayzata by pitching five innings, throwing eleven strikeouts, and allowing just two hits.
Grady Hague went three-for-three with two RBI’s.
The Delano Stars and Stripes 4th of July tournament concludes with the championship game on Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
