Plymouth Women Crowned National Miss Amazing Queen

4:20 PM | Wednesday, August 5, 2026

Elizabeth Neuville has had an extraordinarily busy year. She scored a feature in a Culver’s commercial, then competed and earned a silver medal in the Special Olympics USA Games.

Now the Plymouth woman was crowned with an impactful honor: National Miss Amazing Queen. It’s a national competition for girls and women with disabilities.

Neuville first competed at the state level, winning her age division, before moving on to the national competition in Chicago held in late July.

“Now, I’m officially called Queen Elizabeth,” Neuville said. “I just love that I got to earn the sash and crown!”

Aiming to Grow

Neuville came home with a lot of hardware — multiple crowns and trophies. She also came home with responsibilities for the year ahead. One of Neuville’s biggest goals is to increase the reach of Miss Amazing in Minnesota. The local competition last spring was small. She wants more girls to be involved.

“It’s so important that each and every girl with disabilities, or special abilities, get to shine and just be happy with life,” Neuville said.

She enjoyed meeting new friends from across the country at the national competition. In addition to her age division, there are queens from a variety of age groups, from age 5 and up.

To earn her crown, Neuville did an interview, shared an on-stage introduction and performed a passion presentation dance to Katy Perry’s Roar. She got to dress up in a ball gown and a fun, animal-print outfit for her passion performance.

The weekend in Chicago had an extra-special touch, too — Neuville said she found five lucky pennies.
