Motorcyclist Killed in Brooklyn Center Crash
A man has died following a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn Center.
Brooklyn Center police said the crash happened around 2 p.m. Thursday near the Shingle Creek Crossing shopping center.
The motorcyclist was the lone person involved in the crash, police said.
First responders found the man unconscious and bleeding heavily upon arriving at the crash scene. They attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man was wearing a helmet.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
As of midday Friday, the medical examiner had not released the identity of the victim.
