Maple Grove Considers Adding Second K-9
The Maple Grove City Council will swear in three new officers as well as possibly give the final stamp of approval for a second police canine handler and K-9. So far, the first K-9 named Calo has been successful in weapons searches and tracking burglary, robbery, and sexual assault suspects. The cost of a second dog is $84K and the Maple Grove Lions Club has donated $25K toward the new K-9.
