Hope Breakfast Bar Announces Maple Grove Location

A popular Twin Cities-based restaurant chain is bringing its breakfast specialties to Maple Grove.

 Hope Breakfast Bar plans to open in the former Paulie’s, located at 15641 Grove Circle N. in The Grove.

“For more than two years, we’ve prayed, searched, negotiated, and believed,” wrote Brian Ingram, CEO of Hope Breakfast Bar in a social media post. “Today, we’re beyond excited to finally say … Hope Breakfast Bar is officially coming to Maple Grove!”

It will be Hope’s 10th restaurant in the metro.

“We think it is an excellent fit for that space and for Maple Grove,” wrote Joe Hogeboom, community and economic development director for Maple Grove in an email to CCX News. “The project will not require any formal Planning Commission or City Council approval, since it is going into an existing building. However, it will likely need building permits if they plan on making any significant structural modifications to the space. To date, no permits have been pulled.”

Previously, the Maple Grove City Council rejected a proposal for a Hope Breakfast Bar and Dave’s Hot Chicken along Elm Creek Boulevard.

“This will become our 10th Hope Breakfast Bar, but what excites us most isn’t opening another restaurant,” Ingram wrote. “It’s becoming part of another community. From the very beginning, we’ve asked one simple question: ‘How do we want people to feel?’ Because we’re not just in the breakfast business. We’re in the memory business. We exist to create a place where birthdays are celebrated, prayers are shared, first dates become engagements, families reconnect, and strangers become friends. Yes, you’ll find our famous Cake Batter Pancakes, Unicorn Mimosas, scratch-made brunch, incredible coffee, and the creative dishes that have made Hope what it is … But our greatest hope is that when you walk through our doors, you feel seen, valued, and loved.”

Meanwhile, Paulie’s closed back in February after a two-year run. Before that, the building was home to Rock Elm at the Grove.
