Golden Valley Lawmaker Pushes to Legalize Marijuana
Rep. Mike Freiberg, DFL-Golden Valley, is teaming up with other DFL legislators on a bill that would put the State Department of Health in charge of regulating marijuana. Freiberg says the prohibition mentality hasn’t worked. However, he is not optimistic the issue will come to a vote this legislative session.
