Ex-Robbinsdale Schools IT Worker Charged with Child Porn Possession
A former IT worker at the Robbinsdale Area School District has been charged with possession of child pornography.
Matthew Indykiewicz, 24, was arrested by St. Louis Park Police this week.
According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement agencies were tipped to the alleged crime by the tech company Dropbox.
The company told police that Indykiewicz had stored 31 child criminal sexual assault images on its service.
Police seized several devices from his residence and found the criminal files.
Indykiewicz previously was a LAN technician at Lakeview and Sonnesyn Elementary in the Robbinsdale Area School District.
“While they do not have regular, unsupervised access to students, we recognize that their presence in school buildings may still cause concern,” wrote Robbinsdsale Area Schools Superintendent Teri Staloch. “These allegations are deeply troubling and upsetting for all of us.”
