Brooklyn Park Puts Foreclosure Recovery Program on Hiatus
In the height of the foreclosure crisis in 2008, Brooklyn Park had more than 1,000 foreclosures. Last year, they had 69. Because of the drop, the city is not continuing the foreclosure recovery program. The city’s economic development authority could still invest money in the future to rehab homes if it believes it’s necessary.
