Brooklyn Park Police Investigate Body Found in Commercial Area
Brooklyn Park police continue to investigate a body found over the weekend.
The discovery was made at about 1 p.m. Saturday in a commercial area in the 7400 block of West Broadway.
Police noticed the body as they were responding to a separate incident.
The Hennepin County crime lab responded to the scene, which is protocol for all deaths that are not witnessed, police said.
As of this publishing, it wasn’t yet known how the person died. The identity of the individual has also not yet been released.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy.
