Brooklyn Center Tobacco Ordinance Now in Effect

You have to be at least 21 years of age to purchase tobacco in Brooklyn Center. The ordinance, passed by the city council in November, started on December 21 making Brooklyn Center the 16th city in Minnesota to raise the minimum age to buy tobacco or tobacco products.
