Blu Cajun, located at 8517 Zane Ave. N., opened on Friday, June 26.

Their specialty includes large portions of heavily spiced crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn.
They also offer fried favorites including chicken wings and French fries.
Pham said she wanted to bring their unique flavors to a new neighborhood.

“Driving by this area, we saw this big vacant sign, and it was a great opportunity,” she said. “You know, I called up the owner and I’m like ‘hey, can I take a look at your area’ and we just saw this as a great opportunity to bring our kind of flavor to this community.”
Previously, the building was home to Crumbs and Coffee.
That restaurant closed this winter after an immigration raid tied to Operation Metro Surge.
