Plymouth’s Hilde Nights Brings Crowd Favorites For Free Concerts
(CITY OF PLYMOUTH) – The City of Plymouth presents the second concert of the Hilde Nights series– Kat Perkins Country Roads Band – 6-10 p.m. Friday, July 17 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.
The Nathan Dean band starts off the night taking country, rock and pop requests from the crowd. They may be rooted in country, “but once the night gets going, anything’s fair game.” Singing old-school anthems to today’s hits, no two shows are the same.
Then joins headliner Kat Perkins with her Country Roads Band for a night of sing-along country party songs. “From Shania to Stapleton and Luke to Morgan. We’re you’re Friends in Low Places and we’re Here for the Party!”
Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs, as well as cash/credit for beverages and food truck purchases.
The third and final show in this summer’s Hilde Nights series is set for 6-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28at the Hilde Performance Center. Opening act, The Holy Rocka Rollaz, will take listeners back to the days of classic early Rock ‘n’ Roll. Then, the Fabulous Armadillos will take the stage covering songs from fan-favorite genres – country, Motown, heavy metal, ‘70s soft rock and more.
“We want to enjoy the beautiful summer we have here in Minnesota, and what’s a better way than coming out and bringing your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoying some good music on a Friday night?” said City of Plymouth Recreation Supervisor Alyssa Fram.
