Plymouth Click-and-Ride Bus Service Expands to Maple Grove

(CITY OF PLYMOUTH) – Plymouth Metrolink’s Click-and-Ride service now extends to Maple Grove. Riders can get rides to and from Plymouth and Maple Grove – all rides must either begin or end in Plymouth.

This joins similar service now available to transit riders from the City of Maple Grove that also began in July.

Plymouth Metrolink Click-and-Ride offers $3 rides, seven days a week.

Riders can book on-demand shuttles through the free Click-and-Ride app. The app also provides updates about ride status.

The Click-and-Ride app is available through Google Play and the Apple App Store.

With service seven days a week, Click-and-Ride is an option for anyone in Plymouth to catch a ride to work, appointments, visits with friends and family, shopping, or wherever else they need to go.

Click-and-Ride provides public transit service anywhere in Plymouth or Maple Grove, in addition to select locations outside the city of Plymouth, such as Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, Colonial Square in Wayzata, Golden Valley Center, and businesses located in the area of Highway 55 and County Road 101 in Medina and Hamel. All rides to locations outside of Plymouth must begin or end at a location in Plymouth.

Hours of operation: 
Monday-Friday: 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sunday: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Passengers who would like to request rides by phone may do so by calling 763-559-5057. Rides can be canceled via the app or by calling 763-559-5057.

Click-and-Ride is a shared ride service, therefore travel may not always be direct to the scheduled destination.

Additionally, Maple Grove Transit’s MY RIDE micro-transit service is an advance reservation, shared-ride, curb-to-curb bus service available to the public. The service area is the City of Maple Grove boundaries, all of the City of Plymouth plus service to or from:

• Cities of: Osseo, Brooklyn Park, and Brooklyn Center
• Robinsdale Transit Center
• Crystal Shopping Center
• Station 73 (Plymouth on Hwy. 55)
• West Health Campus in Plymouth
• CROSS Food Shelf in Rogers
 Service hours are weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  There is no Sunday service.  The fare is $3.00 per one-way ride.
