Maple Grove Spotlights Latest Retail and Dining Options
In a city that’s already known for its wealth of retail and restaurant options, Maple Grove is about to get some new choices.
“Maple Grove has a lot of great things going for it,” says Maple Grove Assistant Community and Economic Development Director Jesse Anderson. “Great location just northwest of the cities with 494 connecting us. There’s a lot of things here a lot of new things coming.”
Anderson gives us the scoop on what restaurants are hitting the scene.
“Restaurants that are coming into town are Tiffany’s Kitchen and Bar, Chicken Salad Chick is coming, Project LeanNation, not really a restaurant, but they still have food there is coming, recently Mo’Bettahs opened in the Fountains at Arbor Lakes and we also have Hope Breakfast coming near the hospital,” says Anderson.

More than just restaurants
But it’s not just new restaurants to be on the look out for, wellness studio Stretch Zone and L.L.Bean have recently set up shop and the new LifeTime Fitness is getting ready to come on board.
“That will be a large facility with indoor, outdoor pool, pickleball courts, fitness center, athletic rooms for kids activities or training rooms so it will be a really great project there right near the hospital,” says Anderson.
Another activity place is taking over the former JCPenney.
“It’s a kids orientated adventure facility with rope courses, ninja zone, arcade that type of stuff, so a great entertainment option for the city,” says Anderson.
New development in Maple Grove
A vacant lot near Highway 610 across from the Target is the proposed location for Dick’s House of Sport.
“So Dick’s House of Sport is proposing a two story, one hundred thousand foot new building,” says Anderson. “Should really drive people to our community. In addition to that, there will be a Golf Galaxy attached to that building which will be about 20 thousand square feet.”
In that same area Chick-fil-A, 7 Brew coffee drive-thru, and a Valvoline Instant Oil Change are also being considered.
Anderson says all this new development does more than just give residents extra options.
“It also brings people from the outside of the community in to come and invest in our community too,” says Anderson.
A community that continues to grow and expand.
