Maple Grove Polls Open for Early Voting in Primary Election

(CITY OF MAPLE GROVE) – Changes to Minnesota election law mean that beginning in 2026, the City of Maple Grove will offer 18 days of in-person early voting before each election.

Primary Election Day in Minnesota is Tuesday, August 11.

For the August 11 primary, early voting at the Maple Grove Government Center runs from July 24 through August 10 during regular business hours of 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Residents may still vote absentee 46 days before election day by:

Requesting and returning absentee ballots by mail beginning June 26, dropping off absentee ballots received by mail at the Government Center (offices closed July 4), and voting in person at the Hennepin County Elections Office.

Extended early voting hours will be available on Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Early voting is not available on election day (August 11). Voters must vote at your polling place.

Election services are located in the new election space on the first floor of the Maple Grove Government Center.

The general election is November 3. The mayor’s seat and two councilmember seats will be on the general election ballot.
