Golden Valley Places Solar Panels on Brookview’s Roof

The City of Golden Valley recently cut the ribbon on solar panels installed and activated on the roof of Brookview, which will in part power the city’s golf and recreation center. 

Mayor Roslyn Harmon told CCX Media’s Dave Kiser during a taping of the Mayor’s Minutes segment that the investment will provide up to 162 kilowatts of power and should help pay for itself within seven years.

“We’re very, very excited” about the project, she told Kiser.
