Community Cleanup Events Fast Approaching For Maple Grove Residents

The City of Maple Grove provides residents two ways to dispose of items that might be a bit tricky to get rid of, such as appliances, tires, and other unwanted items. Full details are available at maplegrovemn.gov/591/City-cleanup-events but here are the basics. On Monday, September 28 a residential Curbside Pickup is offered. Residents must sign up in advance by September 24th at 3:30pm. Then place items (appliances, air conditioners, and tires only) at the curb by 7 a.m. on the 28th. The associated pickup fee is added to your utility bill. In addition, a community cleanup day is set for Saturday, October 3rd. In addition to appliances, air conditioners, and tires, Maple Grove residents can drop off propane tanks and scrap metal, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Facility on Forestview lane.
