Brooklyn Park Ready to Tempt Tastebuds with Restaurant Week
Here’s your chance to check out the local food scene in Brooklyn Park for a discount.
Restaurant Week begins September 21 and ends on September 27, running from Monday to Sunday.
Discounts include offers of 15% and 30% off your bill, as well as a buy-one-get-one deal.
“The way Restaurant Week works is that when you enter into a restaurant, let the employees know you are there for Restaurant Week to take advantage of the special or discount,” says Project Facilitator Josephine Thao.
Thao also says not only does Brooklyn Park Restaurant Week give diners a great deal, it also supports local businesses and the owners who live and work in the community.
“It’s a great way to highlight our diverse cuisines. It reflects our population, residents, community members,” says Thao.
There’s a wide range of participating places, including Heavy Rotation Brewing Co., Mad Jack’s Sports Cafe, Nadia’s Jamaican Kitchen, Sweet Taste of Italy, and specialty drink shops like GoCha Tea House.

“We’re very lucky to have GoCha Tea House participating again,” says Thao. “This will be their second year. They are a staple in Brooklyn Park and you can order your favorite matcha, tea, or you can get a smoothie and one of the cool features that they do offer claw machines.”
GoCha Tea House is one of about a dozen restaurants taking part in Brooklyn Park’s Restaurant Week. For a complete list of restaurants go to brooklynpark.org/restaurant-week.
