Bonnie Westlin
In Local Vote 2026, Bonnie Westlin is one of two candidates running for election to the District 42 seat in the Minnesota Senate. She’s the incumbent in the race and is running as a DFLer. She’ll face Republican challenger Kevin Peterson. Senate District 42 contains all of Medicine Lake, as well as precincts in Plymouth and Maple Grove.
