If the snow and cold don’t deter you from getting out and about this weekend there’s lots to do.
Has the Christmas season and all this beautiful snow got you feeling a little enchanted?
Are you a princess in disguise or do you have a favorite princess you’d like to meet in person?
If so, you should ask your mom to take you to the Enchanted Christmas Ball at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. The space between the Pottery Barn and Bath and Body works is being transformed into the perfect setting for a magical Christmas Ball with your favorite princesses, intergalactic characters, and of course the Big Guy himself.
Cassandra Ridge of Twin Cities Party Princess said, “W we will have 12 characters about half of them being princesses the other half being our hero's, and of course then, Santa.”
The ball starts at 2 p.m. and goes to 4 p.m. and you can find out more information by going to the Twin Cities Party Princess Facebook page.
On a more musical note, the Plymouth Rockers are giving a free concert on Sunday afternoon in the cozy confines of Wayzata Central Middle School.
Plymouth Rockers Music Director David Halligan said, “The Plymouth rockers are celebrating their 25th year this year. This upcoming concert is a celebration of the 25 years, so we sing a lot of favorite Christmas songs.”
Combining beautiful music with dance you have the opportunity to see the Twin Cities only performance of the Nutcracker with a live symphony orchestra presented by the Metropolitan Ballet at Hopkins High School Auditorium.
Show times are 1 and 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. For more information go to www.metroballet.org.
From princess balls to nutcracker suites you have a lot to choose from this weekend.
