Rebels shooting for basketball title this week
Champlin Park went through the regular season and section tournaments unbeaten for the second time in the past three seasons. This time, the Rebels hope to finish the job.

Champlin Park is 29-0 and seeded No. 1 in the Class AAAA tournament. They advanced to the state final in 2015 before losing to Apple Valley, a loss that still haunts returning starters from that team McKinley Wright and Theo John.

The Rebels play Chaska in the opening round of the tournament Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Target Center.

You can see tape delayed coverage of that game Thursday at 9 a.m. on CCX Sports channels 12 and 799 and online at www.ccxmedia.org
