Standout Student: Heritage Christian’s Hannah Hallada
“I'm really down to Mizzou because they have the major of interior design and architectural studies,” said this week’s Standout Student Hannah Hallada.
“I think that is something I would love to go into and study,” Hallada continued.
This very talented Senior at Heritage Christian Academy loves the creative process.
“Hannah has the ability to want to explore different creative processes and sort of do some research find out what it takes to make something look a certain way and try some new things so that's being a true artist is enjoying the process,” said art instructor Cindy Dreblow.
Artistic, yes, but there are other dimensions to this standout senior. She’s also an athlete playing basketball, volleyball and softball.
“Even though it's been a struggle I've been able to maintain a 4.0 all four years, which is super good. I’m super proud of myself. It hasn't been easy, but I like to challenge myself in that way,” said Hallada. "Because of it I get to be part of the National Honors Society and our school's Eagle Honor Society which is fun, so we get to do service work."
The more you learn about Hannah the more there is to like.
“Her character traits are really strong she's got a great sense of community a great sense of who she is and what she can give back to her community,” said Dreblow.
As well as creating pieces of artwork as gifts for her family and friends Hannah has already done some commissioned pieces. She’ll be looking to translate her artistic creativity into interior and architectural design when she begins her college studies next fall.
