Wayzata boys, Armstrong girls win Section 6 Nordic titles
The Wayzata boys Nordic ski team dominated at the Section 6 meet at Hyland Park Reserve in Bloomington, taking the top three places and four of the top five.

Anders Sonnesyn won the meet, with teammates Luc Golin and James Schneider behind him. Armstrong edged Orono by one point to claim the second state berth.

Defending state champion Armstrong won the Section 6 girls title, but it wasn't easy. The Falcons edged Hopkins by three points for first. The Royals also advance to state as runnerup.

Renae Anderson won the individual title, with Mara McCollor of Wayzata second. Armstrong's Dottie Anderson, Lucy Anderson, and Mae Barnes were 3-4-5 respectively.

The state meet is next Thursday at Giant's Ridge in Biwabik.
