Armstrong-Cooper's boys hockey team had a pretty good season last winter, and they may be better this season.
After a disappointing loss to Providence Academy, the Wings bounced back to beat Hopkins 5-2 Tuesday night at New Hope Arena.
Armstrong-Cooper came out strong, with freshman Noah Weisjahn netting his first varsity goal 55 seconds into the game and captain Jack Goergen converting on a 2-on-1 rush a minute later.
The Wings added goals from Riley Enderle and Evan Axell before the first period ended to build a 4-0 lead. Goalie Justin Harding made 36 saves in the win for the Wings.
