It's a tough stretch straight ahead for the Maple Grove football team, and they are eager for the challenge. They've already faced some good teams, beating Osseo, Prior Lake and Burnsville while losing a close one to Minnetonka.
The second half of the schedule is even tougher for the Crimson. That starts when they host No. 1 Eden Prairie Thursday.
In the two games after that, Maple Grove meets No. 6-ranked Lakeville North and No. 3-ranked Edina. It's the type of schedule Maple Grove wants to play to see where they stack up with the state's best.
