Hooker ready to begin pro career in Europe
He enjoyed great success as a high school and college player. Now Quinton Hooker is ready to take the next step.

Hooker, who was Minnesota's Mr. Basketball winner in  2013 after leading Park Center to a state runner up finish, will play for a professional team in Poland this upcoming season. He had tryouts with three NBA teams after completing a superb college career at North Dakota, where he helped UND reach the NCAA Division 1 tournament for the first time this past season.

Hooker's team is in the finals of the Twin Cities Pro Am league Thursday after a playoff win Tuesday night. He is on a team with Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones.
