Whiz Bang baseball tournament a hit
20 teams will take the field for this weekend's Whiz Bang Classic, and several more teams were put on a waiting list.

The tournament, hosted by Armstrong-Cooper Youth Baseball Association,  got underway Friday afternoon.

There is a 19-U division and 14-15 U division.

Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at Lee Park, it's a "Minnesota Twins Takeover" game.

Two Robbinsdale teams will meet, and the teams and fans will take in the sights and sounds of Target Field's game day experience.

The Twins organist, PA announcer, between innings music, TC Bear mascot and more will be on hand to re-create a major league game experience.

Lee Park's field was built with help from the Twins and Major League baseball and opened in 2014.
