There's no sleeping in for some Maple Grove girls basketball players this summer.
From 7:00 to 9:00 am three days a week, between 50 and 60 youth from 9th to 12th grade take part in the Crimson's "Morning Mayhem" program.
Head coach Mark Cook says he's been offering similar workout sessions in June and July for the past several years. The girls, many of whom play AAU basketball as well in the summer, say it's a good way to work on fundamentals and teamwork.
