Wayzata falls in boys lacrosse
Wayzata and Eden Prairie are big rivals in most sports, including boys lacrosse.

Eden Prairie took control early in their matchup with the Trojans Tuesday night, grabbing an early 2-0 lead.

An Eagles penalty helped Wayzata tie it with two quick goals to start the second quarter, but Eden Prairie scored four unanswered goals later in the quarter to take a 6-2 lead into halftime. They never really let the Trojans back into it and won 9-4.

Collin Penn had four goals and Nick Leiverman three to lead the Eagles.

Wayzata dropped to 2-1 with the loss.
