State Fair Express Buses
operate from more than 20 Twin Cities locations. Two locations near us offer bus service every 15 minutes. One is at a Brooklyn Park Park and Ride, located at 63rd Avenue and Bottineau Boulevard. The other is in Minnetonka at Hopkins Crossroads at I-394 and County Road 73.
You can get bus service every half hour on weekends and on Labor Day at the Maple Grove Park and Ride at I-94 and Hemlock Lane.Try a ride-sharing app
Ride-sharing apps Uber and Lyft
have two pick-up and drop-off locations, both on the northern end of the fairgrounds. One is on the northeast end of the fairgrounds near Snelling and Hoyt avenues (Gate #2) and outside the northwest end of the fairgrounds on Buford Avenue (University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus Continuing Education and Conference Center).
If you are a new user, you can get to the Fair for less. New Uber users can use the code MNSTATEFAIR when you sign up to get $15 off your first ride. New Lyft users can use the same code to get 30 percent off two Lyft rides or up to $5 off two rides.Discount Days
